St.John Kitty Program
This National Child Development Program that is conducted in a the lines of the Badger program of the International St.John. Children aged between 6 and 11 years old can join our Kitty program. The programme has been developed to enable young people to learn important life skills in a fun and safe environment.
Kitty programme is commendable and now has an all island presence. It is recognized and supported by the Ministry of Education as a co-curricular element in the schools. A Kitty can choose from twelve subjects to complete their award program. Once a Kitty has completed all subjects they are awarded their Super Kitty Award.
This year we were able to expand the Kitty Program substantially under the able leadership of Mr. M.B.Godamune, National Kitty Program Director. Fifty-five new Kitty Divisions were registered during 2015 with 1190 new members.

St John Ambulance Cadets
The program is specially conducted for young people to learn important life skills in a fun and safe environment, but with challenge and excitement appropriate to their age. Anyone between 12 and 18 years of age can join one of our Cadet units, which operate throughout the country.
Youth leadership training plays a crucial part in the development of thousands of young people by broadening their horizons and helping them to realise their potential. St John has emphasized the training for youth leaders to enable them to work with young people and help them to complete our Grand Prior Award scheme.
